RC5 Gen2 adds native Cisco Control Hub integration, diagnostics, and field-upgradeable enhancements
NORWALK, Conn., April 22, 2025 – Sound Control Technologies (SCT), the leader in camera, codec, and tabletop technology solutions, has added support for native Cisco Control Hub integration to its RC5 Camera Extension System—enabling real-time visibility into system health and connection status directly from the Cisco platform.
The RC5 extender kit—already leverages SCTLink™ for delivering power, video, control, and Ethernet up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable—streamlines AV deployments with Cisco codecs, PTZ cameras, and video bars. With Gen2’s native Cisco Control Hub integration, IT and AV teams can now monitor system health, verify connectivity, and troubleshoot remotely.
