SCT Introduces RTK-L3, Bringing USB 3.2 Performance to Existing HDMI/USB 2.0 AV Extension Systems

New companion table extension kit adds SuperSpeed USB, single-cable USB-C connectivity, and up to 100W charging without replacing existing infrastructure

NORWALK, Conn., Jul 15, 2026 – Sound Control Technologies (SCT), a leader in professional AV extension and connectivity solutions, today announced the RTK-L3, a USB 3.2 companion table extension solution designed to bring SuperSpeed USB, single-cable USB-C connectivity with DP Alt Mode, and up to 100W laptop charging to existing HDMI^®/USB 2.0-based room systems.

Compatible with SCT RTK-PLUS, RTK-PRO, RTK-MINI, RTK-X57, and select third-party deployments, the RTK-L3 uses a secondary CAT cable to add a dedicated 5Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 1 data path while maintaining the familiar single-cable USB-C experience at the table.
